The NBA can't resist lusting after Europe while its U.S. expansion plan is still on hold
While Seattle and Las Vegas await a bidding process everyone thinks they will win
Following those two NBA games last week in Paris between Indiana and San Antonio, word came out that the league is again looking into a major foray into Europe.
What the league seems to want most is a partnership with the EuroLeague. But that group says it isn’t interested. Failing that, our greedy pro basketball league would like to at least set up some sort of situation across the pond that would inevitably run in conjunction with or in competition with the EuroLeague.
The lure of the buried treasure in Europe is just too strong for those money-hungry NBA owners to resist.
