The good, bad, ugly of the playoffs: Violence, LeBron's 4th quarters, Dame's injury
And could we start recognizing lockdown defenders instead of shot blockers?
My thoughts on what we’ve seen so far in the first round of the NBA playoffs:
THE GOOD: I’m really enjoying watching Minnesota’s fearless play against the Lakers. If the Timberwolves can close the series out soon, I’m sure I will enjoy another off-season of LeBron James crying about not having enough help.
Anthony Edwards, by the way, just keeps getting better and better and better.
I’m also impressed with Oklahoma City’s commitment to defense, led by the scrappiest defender in the league, Alex Caruso. Can we please stop the semi-automatic tradition of handing the “Defensive player of the Year” award to the league’s leader in blocked shots?
