OK, so I still have some opinions

... and this is where you will find them

You may have. heard by now that my former company, iheart Media, had some pretty large layoffs, not only in Portland but around the country. I was a casualty of those. But rather than take a few days off to ponder my next move I decided to give this a try.

Many current Substackers have urged me to do it for quite a spell, so here goes.

I plan to give you an opinion or an analysis just about every day, depending on what’s going on and I believe I can keep you informed about the things I believe are important. You can subscribe if you wish, but you know me by now — I will warn you, it’s unlikely you will always agree with me.

We will run the gamut of Portland sports with some insight into the national scene, too, from my several decades of hanging around press boxes.
