Bert Kolde is living his long-time dream and Jody Allen has the best job in the world

Can you imagine being paid millions of dollars to spend other people's money?

It’s time to clear up some observations I’ve heard from fans recently.

First, Bert Kolde was tied to late owner Paul Allen throughout the latter’s tenure as the team’s owner. But he was NOT a decision maker. In fact, their relationship was stormy at times, with Kolde on the outs once in a while. For a time, Paul even relegated him to running the radio station Allen bought in Portland.
